Paleta Flavors
Paletas are handcrafted Mexican-style popsicles made with real fruit, natural ingredients, and a whole lot of love. Unlike ordinary ice pops, paletas are bursting with bold, authentic flavors.
Each paleta is made in small batches for the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. Some are milk-based for a creamy treat, while others are water-based for a light, fruit-forward flavor — perfect for cooling off on a Big Sky summer day!

A Local Scoop Story
Big Sky Scoops is proudly owned and operated by siblings Janet and Brandon Tran. We first opened our doors in the summer of 2022, serving hand-scooped ice cream and sundaes from a small kiosk in front of the Wilson Hotel. From day one, our goal was simple — to fill the void for a true local ice cream spot in Big Sky.
As a seasonal town, our “summer ice cream, winter noodles” concept was a fun way to keep things fresh. But soon, we realized something important: people crave ice cream all year long! So, we decided to keep Scoops open year-round — and sweeten the experience even more.
Today, Big Sky Scoops offers an expanded selection of candies, chocolates, and handmade sweets, alongside our signature ice cream. We proudly source from local Montana makers, including Genuine Ice Cream and La Châtelaine Chocolates, both crafted in nearby Bozeman.
Whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart, we’re here to bring a smile (and a scoop) to your day — one sweet treat at a time.
